Our Definition Of The Best Airfare

The lowest airfare possible on the best possible choice of airline, aircraft and connections so you can travel safely and comfortably and arrive at your destination in the best possible shape to enjoy your vacation or conduct your business effectively.

How Airlines Price Their Seats

Airlines price their seats with what is called the seat inventory system, dividing all available seats on their flights into categories called classes. Classes have different levels of pricing, each class being associated with a number of different fares and rules depending on time of the year (seasonality) and days of the week (such as midweek and weekend). Naturally, the less demand for seats the lower the price. It’s cheaper to fly to most destinations in winter than summer, and week days rather than weekends. There are also middle seasons, such as the fall and spring when fares are a little higher than low season but not as high as in the high or peak season. To get the lowest fare you have to find the lowest available seat inventory on the days you want to travel and, this is important, on ALL the flights to and from your destination. Airfares are generally priced competitively, so if you don’t get a reasonably priced fare it doesn’t necessarily mean that airline is more expensive than the other, but that the low fare inventory is not available on the dates and connections you want.

Featured Airlines: Lufthansa and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Deutsche Lufthansa AG, commonly known as Lufthansa, is the flag carrier of Germany and also the largest airline in Europe, both in terms of overall passengers carried and fleet size when combined with its subsidiaries. Lufthansa distinguishes itself with its highly trained staff and meticulous attention to detail in customer service and maintenance of its aircraft, not to mention its excellent record for punctuality. Lufthansa spends millions of dollars outfitting even brand-new aircraft with its own specially designed equipment for maximum flight safety and passenger comfort, such as ergonomically designed seating. As flight safety is uppermost on passengers’ minds these days, Lufthansa, and KLM, should be on top of the consumer preference list for transportation from North America to destinations across the Atlantic.

KLM is one of the  oldest passenger airlines in the world, giving birth to the famous term “The Flying Dutchman.” Currently it’s part of the KLM-Air France group, one of the largest airline conglomerates in the world. KLM has safely transported millions of Canadians and Americans to Amsterdam and beyond via Amsterdam Schiphol, one of the most popular and friendly airports in the world. It has been a price leader to most overseas destinations from Canada and USA.

Lufthansa Connects From All Canadian Cities

In partnership with Air Canada Lufthansa connects from all major cities in Canada to most destinations in Europe, Africa and Asia with excellent connections at Frankfurt, its European gateway. Featured Destination: Spain
A Destination For All Seasons and Adventures

Did you know that Spain is a destination for all seasons? Forget summer when half of Europe flocks to the Spanish coast. Fall, winter and spring are a great time to visit Spain and avoid the summer crowds on Spain’s famous Mediterranean coast when winter temperatures may run around 20C and hotels are cheap. It’s a place where you can relax by the sea, drive around to discover some of Europe’s richest history, visit exotic little towns on the Atlantic coast, or enjoy the vibrancy of cities that never sleep, such as Barcelona and Madrid. If you want to bathe in really warm waters you could fly to the Canary Islands where the Scandinavians are.
